In seconds it converts from a compact 9" hand scoop for precision recoveries to a 41" long handled scoop for upright, back saving detecting, with a 17" middle setting and four locking positions in between. The business end is pure Reilly's Treasured Gold: a 5" diameter bucket in 16 gauge galvanized steel with a 1/2" welded wire screen that pours sand and keeps treasure. One scoop in the beach bag now covers the whole hunt, and it is made in the USA.

One Scoop, Every Posture

Dry sand hunting has a rhythm problem: shallow targets in soft sand beg for quick kneeling recoveries, while a long day of signals begs for a scoop you can work standing up. The Supreme answers both without a second purchase. The anodized aluminum long handle slides into the short handle and locks with a secure spring clip, so switching modes takes seconds, not tools. Kneel with the 9" configuration to pluck a shallow coin, stretch to 41" when your knees have had enough, or run the 17" mid length for that in between crouch on a towel line crowd day. Rubber grips on both handles (color may vary) keep control comfortable in sweaty or sandy hands, the anodized aluminum shrugs off corrosion, and the galvanized steel basket with its welded wire screen sifts a full scoop of dry sand in a couple of shakes. Light to carry, quick to stow, and adaptable to whoever borrows it, this is the scoop that ends the hand scoop versus long handle debate by winning both sides.

Supreme Scoop Features

2 in 1 adjustable design: 9" hand scoop, 17" mid length, or 41" long handled scoop

Four locking length settings with a secure spring clip, no tools needed to convert

5" diameter bucket in tough 16 gauge galvanized steel

1/2" welded wire screen sifts dry sand fast while trapping coins, rings, and jewelry

Corrosion resistant anodized aluminum handles with comfortable rubber grips

Lightweight, easy to carry, and simple to stow in a beach bag or pack

Built for dry sand detecting and made in the USA by Reilly's Treasured Gold

Supreme at a Glance

Configurations: 9" hand scoop, 17" mid length, 41" long handle, four locking settings

Basket: 5" diameter, 16 gauge galvanized steel

Screen: 1/2" welded wire

Handles: anodized aluminum with rubber grips, spring clip lock

Best for: dry sand beach detecting

Origin: made in the USA

Complete Your Beach Kit

Recoveries go faster when a pinpointer marks the spot before the basket bites: pair the Supreme with a probe from our pinpointer lineup, and stash your finds in a pouch from our bags, pouches, and covers collection.

Why Buy from Serious Detecting

Serious Detecting has stocked Reilly's Treasured Gold gear for years, and we carry the whole family: compare every model in our Reilly's Treasured Gold (RTG) collection, browse all scoops and diving tools across brands, or find your next machine in our metal detectors lineup.

Questions about choosing between RTG scoop styles?
