AT Gold and AT Pro owners who hunt open ground or work long sessions gain freedom of movement without the tether of a headphone cable, while the 17-millisecond audio delay keeps target response fast enough for real-time discrimination decisions. The Z-Lynk system uses frequency-hopping 2.4 GHz transmission to prevent interference from nearby wireless devices, and each module runs up to 30 hours on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

What's Included with the Garrett Z-Lynk System

WT-1 transmitter module with 2-pin AT connector

WR-1 receiver module with 2-pin headphone jack

Two micro-USB charging cables

Why AT Series Owners Reach for the Z-Lynk System

Wireless freedom without audio lag: The 17-millisecond delay is six times faster than Bluetooth, so target tones and threshold shifts reach your ears in near real-time. You can swing aggressively in trashy iron patches and still hear the subtle high-tone breaks that signal a keeper coin masked under nails.

30-hour runtime per charge: Each module runs a full week of two-hour sessions before needing a recharge. Micro-USB charging ports accept power from a laptop, car USB port, or smartphone wall adapter, so you can top off the modules overnight or during a lunch break.

Frequency-hopping 2.4 GHz transmission: The system automatically switches channels to avoid interference from other detectorists' wireless headphones or nearby Wi-Fi networks. Both modules withstand sweat, humid conditions, and the occasional splash when you kneel to dig a target in wet grass.

Universal 2-pin compatibility: The receiver's 2-pin jack accepts any wired headphone with a matching 2-pin plug, so you can keep using your favorite over-ear cans or lightweight on-ear set rather than buying proprietary wireless headphones.

Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Modules Built for Extended Hunts

Both the WT-1 transmitter and WR-1 receiver house rechargeable lithium-ion cells that deliver approximately 30 hours of operation per charge. Recharge the modules using the included micro-USB cables by connecting them to a laptop USB port, your vehicle's USB outlet, or a smartphone charger's USB power block. Each module has an auto-off function that powers down after 30 minutes of inactivity, preserving battery life when you take a break or forget to switch off manually. The system operates in temperatures from -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F), so the batteries hold charge in cold-weather relic hunts and hot-summer gold prospecting sessions. The Garrett AT Gold metal detector and Garrett AT Pro metal detector both use the 2-pin AT connector, making the Z-Lynk system a drop-in wireless upgrade for either model.

Specifications

Compatibility: Garrett AT Gold, AT Pro, AT Pro International, Sea Hunter Mark II, ATX

Connector: 2-pin AT headphone jack (transmitter), 2-pin headphone jack (receiver)

Audio Delay: 17 milliseconds

Operating Frequency: 2.4 GHz frequency hopping

Battery Type: Rechargeable lithium-ion

Operating Time: 30 hours per charge (approximate)

Charging: Micro-USB port (cables included)

Waterproof Rating: WT-1 transmitter IP64 (heavy rain), WR-1 receiver IP52 (light rain)

Operating Temperature: -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F)

Certifications: FCC, CE, IC

Warranty: 2 years limited parts and labor

Country of Manufacture: USA

Why Buy from Serious Detecting

Serious Detecting is an authorized Garrett dealer, so your Z-Lynk system ships with the full 2-year limited parts and labor warranty.
