Each one is a customer return that has been tested by our team for sensitivity, audio, vibration, lost alarm and waterproofing before it goes back on the shelf. You get the pinpointer, the woven belt holster and a 9 V battery, backed by the same 3-year Garrett warranty as a new unit.

What's Included with the Open Box Garrett Pro-Pointer AT

Garrett Pro-Pointer AT pinpointer (open box, tested)

Woven belt holster

9 V battery

Garrett instruction sheet

Open Box Condition

Open box units are returns in like-new working order. The retail box may show handling wear and the seal is broken, and the probe may show light marks from a hunt or two. Every unit is powered up, tuned and submersion-tested before we list it. Cosmetic condition varies from unit to unit; function does not. Coverage is the full 3-year Garrett limited warranty, the same as new stock. See everything we currently have in open box and demo gear.

Where the Pro-Pointer AT Earns Its Reputation

Beach, Surf and Underwater

Submersible to 20 ft (6 m) with an IP68 rating, the Pro-Pointer AT goes under with you at the beach, in a river, or on a shallow dive. The orange housing is easy to see in murky water and dark sand, and the lost alarm starts chirping after five minutes idle so a probe set down on the towel does not stay there. Pair it with any of our waterproof metal detectors for a fully submersible kit.

Parks, Fields and Trashy Sites

Three sensitivity levels let you run the probe hot for a deep coin in clean ground or turn it down in a hole full of foil and nails so you get a single clean response. The fast retune button shrinks the detection field around a target you have already found, and the 360-degree detection tip and side-scan let you sweep the hole walls without rotating the probe. Proportional audio and vibration ramp up as you close in, so you know which way to dig before you see the target.

Low Light and Silent Hunting

The built-in LED lights the hole in a shaded wood lot or at dusk on the beach, and vibrate-only mode keeps things quiet when you are hunting near people or when you already have headphones on. The ruler marked on the side helps you judge target depth, and the scraping blade on the tip lets you probe the soil without dulling your finds.

Why Detectorists Choose the Pro-Pointer AT

Submersible to 20 ft (6 m), IP68: the same probe for dry land and the water.

Three sensitivity levels with a fast retune button for precise pinpointing in trash and mineralized ground.

360-degree detection at the tip and sides, with proportional audio and vibration that intensify as you close on the target.

Lost alarm chirps after five minutes idle, then auto power-off after an hour to save the battery.

Built-in LED flashlight, ruler and scraping blade for low light and hard ground.

Runs about 30 hours on one alkaline 9 V battery, no proprietary charger required.

Specifications

Operating Frequency: 11.5 kHz

Waterproof: Submersible to 20 ft (6 m), IP68

Sensitivity: 3 levels

Detection: 360-degree tip and side scan

Indicators: Proportional audio and vibration, vibrate-only mode

LED Flashlight: Yes

Lost Alarm: Yes, after 5 minutes idle; auto-off after 60 minutes of alarm

Battery: Single 9 V (included)

Battery Life: Alkaline 30 hours, carbon 16 hours, rechargeable 8 hours

Length: 9 in (22.9 cm)

Weight: 6.5 oz (0.2 kg) with battery

Color: Orange

Warranty: 3 years limited parts and labor (Garrett)

Other Garrett Pro-Pointer AT Options

Garrett Pro-Pointer AT, new: sealed retail box with holster and battery.

Pro-Pointer AT with All Terrain Dig Pouch: adds Garrett's belt-mount finds and tool pouch.

Pro-Pointer AT with Dig Pouch and Edge Digger: the complete recovery kit for a new detectorist.

Why Buy from Serious Detecting

We are an authorized Garrett dealer, so open box units carry the full 3-year Garrett warranty rather than a reseller's promise.
